A Throne Of Power: Seated Red Light Warnings Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Throne Of Power: Seated Red Light Warnings

Rating: 5.0

God grant us good leadership rulers
we can believe in; wise governments;
who believe in peace citizen needs...

a hubris wisdom lesson
in putting too much power
in the hands of clowns

those unfit to lead
or incapable of leading well
to the esteemed level

a country or nation needs

Shakespeare both taught
ink red light warned of this
in tragedy play 'King Lear'.

a house divided cannot stand
wisdom selects intelligent leaders
who charisma unite nations

who serve with noblest ideals
who sow peace strong economies
who serve for betterment of all
