A Touch Of Summer Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Touch Of Summer

When autumn comes with golden leaves,
Upon the pleasant woodland trees,
I'll think back to those summer days,
That touched my heart in many ways.
Then think of all the walks we had,
Beneath the bluest cloudless sky,
For in those moments that we shared,
We cherished life as it passed by.
The melody of nature's presence,
Filled our minds with soothing sounds,
A touch of love,
It's pure presence,
Touched our souls to lift us high.
