A Verse For Leonard - Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

It was raining
And I saw a bird sitting on a wire
Like a drunken sailor
Too bad, it wasn't old Montreal
It would've been more appropirate

I will admit Leonard was not my favorite singer, but he was one of the best writers poets in the last two centuries. A wonderful tribute fitting to the man. (Report)Reply
