A Very Smart Girl Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Very Smart Girl

She walked into the room confidently
A shadow followed close behind
It's mood dark and lonely
Smart girl
With the hint of a smile
Upon her beautiful face
They were expecting a speech
But she uttered not a word
Because guilty was she
Guilty as could be
Just another fraud
