A Waltz Wave: A Fish Jumps - Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

A
fish jumps
to
catch a
dragonfly
hanging
o'er
a lake's
smooth skin where
the mountain sleeps
until these
waves break
the
mirror.
Now a sky
away
the
mountain
looms.

Such beautiful imagery in this one! I love 'a lake's smooth skin'. A very pretty poem. (Report) Reply
