A Waltz Wave: Dream Of Fishes Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

A Waltz Wave: Dream Of Fishes

Rating: 3.4

Fish
schools knife
through
the stream -
quicksilver
puddles.
In
my dream
we catch them
with our bare hands,
like fireflies,
they glow
in
the night.
Sometimes we
grab moon
beams,
by mis-
take.

I like the 'ins' in this 'hang on to your dreams poem, ' Lillian, where the 'ins' separate and bind, and it's a good take, mis-take notwithstanding, not even when fish schools knife through the stream

Lillian, you have introduced all the superlative imagery of your haiku to this waltz wave form and created an undeniably magnificent poem! S :)
