A White Sheet Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

A White Sheet

Rating: 5.0

What have I gained?
What have I lost?
The sheet of profit and loss remains ever white,
I don't write a single number on it.
More I calculate, more I will become panic
as the weighing balance tends to sink
on the side, where lost items are kept.
When I gain, I smile;
when I lose, I do smile;
with an ever smile I enjoy this ride
with few intentions-
I will not go astray,
I will do for others,
I will carry out my duties...

In the end the balance sheet becomes blank and we leave this place, There is nothing to panic and let us go on doing our assigned jobs. Enjoyed thoroughly, Thanks for posting.
