A Wise Proverb Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

A Wise Proverb

Rating: 5.0

There once was a young fool named Naive,
Who did run with bad company,
To him words were given,
Which helped change his livin':
'Lie with dogs, and you rise with fleas.'

This was one of my early attempts at a limerick.

I do hope you enjoy it,
Loyd, the simple poet.

It's so true, Loyd. Peoples behavior is contagious, I think. We tend to pick up traits from those we hang out with. One should be very careful in their choice of friends. A great write, my friend....10 indeed. Best wishes Richard
