A Wonderful Mystery - Poem by Charles Garcia

Have you ever wondered?
Why no one has reached the Universe?
No matter how hard they try,

Have you ever wondered?
As no limit to the galaxies, cosmic skies,
As the big black hole, blocking everyone’s eyes.

For no one has seen the other side,
In our lifetime we explore, we learn,
As we hold unconscionably
to our past,

As true: it did not work for us
Yesterday, perhaps tomorrow we give it
Another try.

The x-factor of your poems is their smoothness. Loved this one...

This is such an interesting subject. My thoughts are that we live in a reality and that space is a dream. This makes me wonder about just how important poets really are.Great piece here Charles, thought provoking.Love Duncan (Report) Reply

    a wonderful tale
    exploring the mystery of creation
    time not a problem
    truth the same
    always going forward
    hope in the heart
