A Word Affair Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

A Word Affair

Rating: 5.0

I dabbled with your sensual adjectives
.....While watching your verbs conjugate
Flirting with your singular personal nouns
While, i worked hard to puncuate!

Lost in a whirlwind of your syllables
So taken in by your heated plural pronouns
Such sultry-scented moments capitalized where
................Needed...................!
With my voyerism bringing past tense back
................Around....................!

Accentuating my lusting eyes with elaborate
.............Dots overhead...............
Crossing my tee's when left undone
It's an affair of perfect puncuation & words
..................Complete..................
A relationship of words and puncuation
'Neath a very heated summer sun!

If you were to teach Grammar, I suggest college! ! ! High schoolers would go bananas! ! I love this piece! Absolutely, totally love this piece! I can't even point out the lines that captured me especially because every one of those hot frisky lines captivated me! Theo! ! ! ! ! This is such a joyful romp! ! ! Please, write more in same mood- - you make people's spirits rise and with all this constant snow and ice we need a little heat! Absolutely a fun-loving ten and a happy spot on my Fav list! 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Susan- - - - - - - - Yep, I just found this one as well! Have gotten use to no comments or an occasional one if I am lucky. Plus, my mind has been on other things and that sometimes draws my attention away -makes me careless - to not check. You are a dear and am so delighted that my little word affair warmed you up a bit. So sorry you had to deal with the snow. It was 85 here today and have had to have central air on to be comfortable. Have to ne in the mood and mind to write like this...but I promise more when and if the mood hits! Thank you again so very, very much. Many blessings to you and yours.
