A Youthful Conclusion Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Youthful Conclusion

Rating: 5.0

'All roads lead to where we are going.'
The simplicity of innocence is forever flowing.
My granddaughter’s naiveté was showing.
In retrospect, I think that she was all knowing.

OH MY GOODNESS! this poem is sooooo funny, thanks Grams! well... hey now... I still can talk of the 'good o' days...' I have a bit of complications myself... maybe not as complex... but it's a start! lol. but hey, it is true is it not? ? All roads do lead to where we are going!

This one gets me thinking. The first line is so simple. I suspect the roads of youth are not so cluttered as those of us older folk. When I hear about the 'good old days', I think it means about the time when we were young and saw life more simply without so many problems and, yes, we were all knowing.
