A29 Dear Diary Poem by Bill Smith

A29 Dear Diary

Rating: 5.0

One day in the future
When the mist has cleared
and the sun shines once more
when you flick through the diary in your mind
Somewhere on a page you will find me smiling
You will forget the green of our parting and
Read of good things and maybe
Just maybe
a smile will spread from your perfect lips
to your sparkling eyes and
you’ll whisper my name to the wind
