Mujhe keya khabar thee ke aankhon mein teri,
Wuh barkha bhee hay toot kar jo hay barsi,
Muhabbat ke sagar se uthe jo badal,
Youn chamke youn garje ke dharti hay jalthal,
Main hoon pani pani nadamat se apni,
Bhala dekhti keya muhabbat ko apni,
Nazar teri zulfon mein atki hui thee,
Sitaron mein kutch aisi bhatki hui thee,
Nahin jhank pai main dil mein tumhare,
Yeh bijli jo chamki to dekhe nazare,
Bhanwein yeh tumhari to ek kehkashan hayn,
Yeh rahein mujhe aaj lai wuhan hayn,
Yeh bheegi hui palkein keya kah raheen hayn,
Yeh aankhen loho ban ke keyun bah rahi hayn,
Main mitti ko ashkon se goondha karoon gi,
Tera but banakar main pooja karoon gi.

Very beautiful poem. A drop of tear expresses many things. Your poem from starting to end expresses very deep meaning. Wonderful; .

Akhtar sahab ki kalam se nikli awaz ek paigam duniyawalo ko de rahi hai. use aapne phir apni syahi se tarasha.tabhi to jitni baar padha jaye kam hay. Shahzia batool bahan ne meri ek nazm ko bakhoobi tarasha hai. aapko bhi pasand ayega. Regards.
