Abyss Poem by Tom Allport

Abyss

Rating: 5.0

Sunken Dreams
To the icy depths
Gathered then locked
Into the black abyss
Titanic tears
Were never the less
Like survivor's love
Forever in distress.

Very good use of words: Sunken - icy depths- the black abyss- Titanic tears- survivor's- forever in distress. All these words increased the emotional impact as did the title. Well written, Tom..
