Add A Pinch Of Prayer

Add a pinch of prayer
To your daily task's ingredients
Then you won't be tempted to say
Everything happens by chance
But direct the praises to that One
Who constantly giveth more grace
Giving to God back the glory
That He deserved in the first place

Add a pinch of prayer
It'll yield some great results
While your waiting on the Lord
To the working of everything out
It will put a joy into your heart
In fact it may cause you to sing
For He who trusts in His God
Has always cause for rejoicing

Add a pinch of prayer
Before you know it your day will be done
Then count the many blessings
That the good Lord has brought around
As you rehearse your daily transactions
Surprised of the blessings found there
Your new found bottle of reference now at hand
Because you've added a pinch of prayer.
