Advice To A Match Seeker Poem by Adams King

Advice To A Match Seeker

Do not give yourself to the petty gains of life
or being cajoled by a temporary paradise
many has been promised to be crowned wife
but dishusbanded before the cock cries
men are so skillful in the craft of deceit
pretending authentic yet but a counterfeit

Do not be gullible to uncover your shell
the devil tempts first with luxuries
before he inflicts you with a hurty hell
give yourself wisdom and gentility
and do not be victims of flattering throats
for love is subtle as a chameleon's coat
