After Pacified The Thieves See My Friend Off To North

★ After Pacified the Thieves See My Friend Off to North

☆ Poetry by Sikong Shu (720? -790? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

We went to south in troubled times
But you’ll return north alone in clear times
In the alien land my hairs became gray
You’ll see the green mountains in our old native place
Go through ruined fort, a moon at dawn
Stay the old frontier juncture, an array of stars
Sad birds and withering grass
Everywhere accompany with your worry face

★ 贼平后送人北归

☆ 司空曙 诗

世乱同南去
时清独北还
他乡生白发
旧国见青山
晓月过残垒
繁星宿故关
寒禽与衰草
处处伴愁颜
