Air Balloon Of Thought Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Air Balloon Of Thought

A silken sphere inflated by the mind,
'Air Balloon of Thought, ' where truths we seek to find.
No woven basket bound to earthly ground,
But floating concepts where new worlds are found.

We cast off anchors, moorings of the known,
And rise on currents where ideas have grown.
A tapestry of notions light and free,
Unfurling vistas for the soul to see.

What fragile fabric holds such vast design?
What hidden fuel ignites this inner shrine?
The breath of wonder whispered in the breeze,
The spark of insight rustling through the trees.

We drift through realms where logic intertwines,
With dreams and fancies in celestial lines.
A fleeting glimpse of what the heart conceives,
The boundless spaces where the spirit weaves.

The altitude of wisdom sharp and clear,
Where doubts diminish and our visions steer.
Then gentle descent, a settling of the soul,
Returning fragments to make our stories whole.

The 'Air Balloon of Thought, ' a journey's gentle grace,
Leaves trails of starlight on time's passing face.
And in the quiet where the echoes softly gleam,
We gather wisdom from a floating inner dream.
