Alice And Piscies - Poem by Cally A. Nixon

life is a path,
that is traveled without thought...
many travel willingly,
and few have fought.

when your path,
crosses with anothers...
it may end abruptly,
as did Alice and her mother's.

cats may be said,
to have nine lives...
they die and again come back,
to try to survive.

Alice and Piscies,
hav lost their first test...
they have eight lives left,
to see if they can do their best.

i have started to wonder,
why they must leave...
to finish with their other lives,
there is no reason that i can clearly see.

hopefully they come back to,
this place and time...
so that i can see them,
while their eyes still shine.

for each life,
they go through...
they find themselves in a place,
thats totally new.

A different planet,
a different place...
they go through,
untimed space.

see them again...
if not in this lifetime,
in the next one, then.
