in a miraculous celestial past, if I gave you something when I did not realize
how precious it was, how our lives were enveloped with a cascade of love…
You are giving it back now -
as if there is no wonder,
everything  happening naturally
as it should be!

so many years have passed by,
like meandering rivers flow with ripples, with the cadence of an enchanting symphony of its own.
I couldn't even keep track of how many times each day
I longed for you, looked for you, frantically, passionately….
and realized you were not there,
not even somewhere close,
and accepted the fate.

we come back to the place
where we met, and where we left
each other.
it was crowded, teeming, bursting with noise,
we found a solitary corner though
to exchange a few words, and leave.
we didn't know that would be the start of a very very long good-bye!

now!
we are here - looking at each other in astonishment,
our lives have changed, we have changed,
not entirely, but so much.

life brought us back
in a crazy way, to the same crazy place,
we still belong to each other!
