All Day All Alone Poem by Susheela Alexiose

All Day All Alone

Rating: 4.8

More than a slice of cake
And a glass of champagne
What I dreamt of, was a loving heart
Oh how I dreamt all day all alone

I dreamt of a caring heart
Who will cuddle me to sleep
Who will make me forget
All my sorrows and pain

I built a castle in the air
Only you and me in a small hut
Where our food was a slice of bread
And our drink, a cup of tea

We enjoyed each crumb of the bread
As love and care were buttered on it

When our heart and body united in profound love
It bought forth cute angels in our life
Who sat around our table like olive plants
Oh how I dreamt all day all alone

'When our heart and body united in profound love It bought forth cute angels in our life Who sat around our table like olive plants'..is beautiful imagery indeed. Wish you are blessed with such a life as you have imagined. Nice poem.
