All That Glitters Is Not Gold! - Poem by Srivatsan Srini

Would I ever be able to say that I loved you?
'Cause the way you blew it, proves you.
You were my waking dream,
My knowledge stream.
A dream need not be true,
Had it been, you would have taken us through.
Taken us through the niggling confusion
which is now my lethal convulsion.
You gleamed and I thought you are loving me manifold,
but you once again proved the adage that is old.
All that Glitters is not Gold.
