Allen Ginsberg As A Cultman Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Allen Ginsberg As A Cultman

The poet as a cultman,
A romantic, a Bohemian,
A gypsy, a wanderer,
A leftist, a Beat and a Beatle,
A rebel, a revolutionary,
A gay, a visionary
Trying to recuperate, recover
From drug, marijuana, alcoholism
Going against the establishment,
Capitalist policies obstructing
Common man theories
Irrespective of what
The younger generations want it,
Leaving materialistic pleasures
Going to form a company with
Mendicants, babas, yogis and sadhus
In search peace, mental peace and happiness.
