Alone
Alone:

I lived with you, I sang with you
I danced, dined, spent nights with you.
We loved and we fought but never we were apart
We shared our pains and cheerful moments -
Always remaining along.
In your absence I am so alone
Like an alien on earth -now I am left alone.
The moment you're away from me
My known world turned completely unknown to me.
Nothing looks meaningful or of any use to me
Restlessly I'm roaming around
And searching a little peace.
As a vagrant I am wandering -
With an empty and hollow mind
I Just do fail to know why I still belong,
Nothing on earth can console me now -
This world now seems as not my home.
In your absence I am so alone
Like an alien on earth - now I am left alone.
The wound is so deep and wide -
It bleeds only, throughout days and nights,
The lovely flowers, innocent birds
Or even an angelic child
In no way Can make me smile, now a days anymore.
Love can make love can break
But lost out love is like a quake.
You won me and stolen my heart
And left away, leaving me apart! !

When the loved one goes away or is separated, it is so natural that life turns suddenly colourless and bland.. But we have to find a way out! Your sense of loneliness and disorientation, movingly presented!
Loneliness can be very painful at times. We have to force ourselves out of hat situation and live again. There is a bright light around the corner. Reach for it! Nicely written.
love is a very hard to describe. If can be good or it can be bad. the poet has given good images on the subject.
Got a feeling of emptiness when reading this poem. So bereft, - not even a child can make me smile - my heart goes out to you. Have felt this way myself, it's difficult to come back, it takes so long to get through the feelings of loneliness and emptiness. It seems to never end. Eventually, come around slowly, afraid of being hurt again. Wonderful expression of the pain of love gone away. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
Came back and reread this heart-rending poem, Amitava! It really touches the interior pain of losing someone you have loved. Your pain is felt very intensely through this poem and my heart continues to go out to you. Hoping that some happiness has seeped into your life through family and friends. RoseAnn
The feeling of loneliness can really kill.. Knowing that there are many people around, but not the one you loved, The life doesn't seems worth living...
