Alone Lives A Tree Poem by Vignesh Ravishankar Shanmugam

Alone Lives A Tree

Rating: 4.8

Born so high,
Lot my siblings die,
Uncared seems my mother,
Battle only with puny armour,

Sailed by wind,
Sailed by water,
Reached a distant quarter,
Lurked in a grassy border,

Felt so shy,
Grown so high,
Crowned by blue sky,
Sown with clouds that pass by,

See me whole in light,
My shadow beneath the height,
Night so bright,
My silhoutte at sight,

Spells some cold and mild,
Blooms so rich and wild,
Joys all stately held,
None to rejoice with,

Tell the world!
Alone lives a tree.

I enjoyed your theme and your rhyming skill but you really need to pay attention to meter Read aloud it comes across as choppy

The ill fated lone tree cries for company. Sometimes a lone human life also is like this. Well composed.
