Along Life's Way Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Along Life's Way

Memories are that wonderful gift,
Graced with love,
That special lift,
of feelings for those long lost days,
Moments to cherish,
in mind to stay.
Recollections are like an open book,
Sometimes we sit, daydream and look
into the past,
those special times,
Sometimes the tears,
not far behind.
But that is part of grief and healing,
Without those memories,
We'd have no feelings.
Memories touch me every day.
Remembering moments,
along life's way.
