Along The Beach Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Along The Beach

Rating: 5.0

When pleasant dreams greet me at night,
To seek your face that tender sight.
As shadows fall i drift asleep,
You are the soul i long to meet.
For without dreams I'd never be,
With you in my eternity,
So here i am with eyes closed tight,
Hoping I'll see you tonight.
I'm on a beach upon the sand,
You walk to me then take my hand,
We walk along the sandy shore,
We laugh and talk just like before.
I long to stay with you like this,
For your the one i sadly miss,
I hope we meet again tonight,
To walk with you till morning light.
