Along The Motorway

along the motorway
A stop to buy handcrafted gifts
from a roadside stall display
Colourful beehives clustered
near fields of buckwheat
A goat tied to a tether
keeping a wide grass margin neat
A flock of ducks waddle
towards a farmhouse pool
Melon wedges sold by the roadside
Juicy, refreshing, cool
