Always (For Cons Dong) Poem by Adrian Antique

Always (For Cons Dong)

I will always try to find the answer
To this question mark you left in my heart …
But I keep going back to your voice I'll always remember,
And that laughter over beer since we met from the start.

More than two years ago maybe …
When someone… something led me to your place …
And we always told things about the same sad story
Of losing our love and always being brave inside that empty space.

And to somehow make our moments slower we always had those bottles,
While we sat on your porch often unmindful of the sudden drizzles …
We had visions of our loved ones dancing in the rain and singing -
I always see that glow on your face like the moon smiling.

So, I always held on to each drop of rain we spent time to gather
Like pictures of great moments painted in my mind.
They may be swept away and covered in dusts many years later
Yet that house created by our friendship I will always find.

Although you walked away without saying goodbye
Like a castle in the sand suddenly washed away by the sky
You will always be here beside me when I take my sit at night
Always holding my glass of golden water and watching our moonlight.

Love then is always drowning my courage in the wells of sadness
As I say thank you my big brother for finding me, too.
You have saved me countless times so farewell is a pain that's endless …
Because when I struggled through the dark, God always gave me a candle - You.
