Two Hundred and Forty years,
Young!
A Country,
Not enough admired
Or sung,
Americans,
Pioneers,
Of the never
Done,
May you always
Uphold,
Justice and Peace,
Progress and Truth,
Like no Country
Before
Has ever wanted to do,
Nor has ever done.

You have saved
So much of the World
From Tyranny,
Given war torn countries
New life, new destiny.

So to those who disrespect you
And want to tear down
Your exceptionality,
All doors are open
To go search in the World
And find better!
True,
There is always room
For change,
But not thru destruction
Or lawlessness,
Prearranged.

Happy Birthday, America!
May you only get better,
As we all work together
In peaceful and friendly
Exchange.
