Amid The Flowers Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Amid The Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Amid the Summer morn
They came upon this day
The buzzing of the swarm
Like thunder before rain

Tread Ye ever slowly
Bees, move as quickly as they came
Stay still and ever silent
Till the Queen journeys on her way

A golden sheen of color
Soon far afield shall they stray
Bees are only hugging flowers
For sweet honey bees will make
