An Affair Quickly Embraced Poem by Matthew Holloway

An Affair Quickly Embraced

An affair quickly embraced
it began with an awkward look
oponents in a prior battle
now just faces, bodies passing
there currisoity arouse
and something began to stir
feelings, passions burried deep
drew in the first embrace
the guilt and second thoughts
thrown away into a moment
the inner animals roared within
tightly clung together
falling deeper and deeper into it all
an affair of sorts, not quite right
but such passions, embraces
the desires of the flesh exist
secrets are born into existance
all such moments
