An Angel In Yellow (Dicentra Cucllaria) Poem by john (called jack) wren

An Angel In Yellow (Dicentra Cucllaria)

An Angel in Yellow.

This sweet little heart of innocence
As scrumptious as a piece of cheese
That melts the heart of indifference
To bring fulfilment and appease.
She's a token sent by heavenly wing
A promised angel dressed in yellow,
Who brings celestial hymns to sing
With a choir of fairies and a cello.
Seats are booked by prior arrangement
Before noon by phone or on the web,
On various shrubs that she frequents
From circle to stalls she'll flow and ebb.
So take your seat and enjoy the show
As you watch the performance begin
With yellow winged hearts all in a row
Singing their praises to our heroine.
