An Important Lesson Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The great father was proud of his brilliant son,
Who never stood second in the examination,
Gradually the son became more dominant and successful in the intellectual sphere,
Later on he was well established in his profession
And achieved worldwide reputation.
Thus everything was going well,
But one day the moral father became very unhappy,
As he came to know that his famous son had not learnt an important lesson,
That was how to be a good and responsible citizen.
