An Insurrection Poem by Randy McClave

An Insurrection

They attacked and then they stormed the U.S capital
Because they wanted our democracy to fall,
They wanted instead to illegally install their own leader
Who was nothing more than a lying, cheating bottom feeder.
Many traitors also came just to watch and gloat
And as cowards they blamed someone else as their escape goat,
They proudly cheered each and every traitor on
As they all were controlled and used like a cheap and dirty pawn.
They were part of the revolt and a evil rebellion
Each one of them in history books should be known as a felon,
As they fought proudly against their own civil authorities
Rebellion and death was their only priorities.
Now the traitorous cowards want to stay unknown and quiet
Even though they supported and believed in the Capital riot,
Because of that day many people had died
Which from our memory or from God's no one can ever hide.
They were wanting and trying to install their own dictator
Who is a racist and bigot, a liar and a cheater and a unchristian hater,
The man who had honestly and fairly lost the election
Was full of evil and contempt and hate and rejection.
Those insurrectionists should never be allowed to salute our flag
Or say how much that they love our country in a post or in a brag,
The traitor Benedict Arnold is a lot like them
They would sell our country for a dictatorship in a thought or from a whim.
History will always know what they said and did
From those facts it will not ever be lied about or forgotten or hid,
The insurrection of January 6th here in America I will always remember
As my parents still recall the attack on America on the 7th of December.
Pearl Harbor will always be remembered in infamy
January the 6th is the day the Devil played an evil symphony,
Now this day will be known when gullible Americans never accepted an election
So, they took their weapons in Washington, and they had an insurrection.
