An Observation Poem by Sue Sie

An Observation

Two Angels asleep, resting
In dreams of memories of the past
This room is the now, when things are real
So many emotions exploding to feel
Awakening to reality and try
The question always asked is why
The odd smile and twinkle of the eye
You can tell the love that lies within
Captured picture, a memory to cherish
No one knows how to begin
Small talk, the worry shows
As the breeze outside gently blows
Barkless trees whisper your song
Hello my love I won’t be long
A journey of strength and courage
Made daily and hurried
To be with you another day
Is worth a million, come what may
