Ride Of Care
Thoughts are deep at times
When alone on that ride
Through the tunnels and round the bend
Can my presence help it send
The wishes I hold for you
I miss you and would be there
Because you know how much I care
I am with you every day
On that journey come what may
I will return in due course
But for now in mind and spirit I stay
Close the door gently and say
See you tomorrow, don’t hide
Here I go again, on that ride
