An Ode To My Mom - Poem by Jazlle D. H.

The best sleep I ever had
is when I was still a child
Mom puts me in a cradle
and sings for me a lullaby
Her voice echoes in my ear
telling me she will be near
Her hands caress my body
and tap my back gently
She'll be my shield through the night
to make sure I'll be alright
She will kiss me and whisper
words of love that's so sincere
'Sleep well my dear little baby
mama loves you so dearly'

This is such a soft, gentle and sensitive poem Jazlle and a beautiful Ode to your Mother.
A Mother's love is the ultimate and because I know I was very much loved, it has made my journey through life so much easier. 10 Karin
