An ode to your smile

My heart was sworn to you
When I first saw you smile
You are the most beautiful girl
I wish my words could reach you
That I could say all I wish to speak
Having found silence to be a wall
I have hid behind my whispers
Those disguised words I’ve penned
Hoping you would hear my heart
I find your beauty inspiring
It flows more than skin deep
You are in my soul and my mind
I look at you as I would the world
You are the verse to every poem
The melody to every song
And in your smile, I found love
A heartbreaking beauty when missed
A wonder when witnessed
And every time I see you smile
I fall in love that little bit more
