An Old Story And A Sky Blue Crayon

bluebird bluebird
where have you gone
while I was standing out here on the lawn
the blue angels came to kidnap you
and children cried oh what can we do
and hamelin opened its chilly doors
and you oh you were seen no more
I will go with nets of gold
into the freezing night so cold
and search the north wind
the bought and sold
for the children weeping what can we do
will never be happy
without you.
