An Open Market - Translation Poem Of Hồ Xuân Hương: Chợ TrờI

Rating: 2.8

I wonder if creator wanted to tease people
By creating challenges of an open market
Where winds flow very early in the morning
Sunshine stands erect at noon
Clouds gather in the afternoon
And the moon plays when the day ends.
On produce stands, there are fruits and flowers of seasons
With open streets, the nature sits in all directions.
There are people who sell or buy fame
It would be best if they wouldn't bargain.

Above is translation poem of the Vietnamese poem of HỒ XUÂN HƯƠNG:

CHỢ TRỜI

Khen thay con Tạo khéo trêu ngươi.
Bày đặt ra nên cảnh chợ Trời!
Buổi sớm gió đưa, trưa nắng đứng,
Ban chiều mây họp, tối trăng chơi.
Bầy hàng hoa quả tư mùa sẵn,
Mở phố giang sơn bốn mặt ngồi.
Bán lợi, buôn danh nào những kẻ,
Chẳng nên mặc cả một đôi lời.
