AN OVERSEEING POWER
You may admit or not
That depends on you
There is with us an overseeing power
That makes us feel of her
Every moment and every hour
We know of it but shake away
That presence for another hour
We sit and stand, remember and forget
Move and stay yet all the time
Make ourselves forget her presence
Till we reach that stage of life
When we feel sorry what happened
That we neglected her when time was ripe
To listen to her obediently!
