Sometimes, when I am all alone with my thoughts
I will suddenly look inside myself, and find nothing.
But then the smell of your hair or the sound of your voice
would rise up from the depths of my being
and fill me so completely that I am left numb.
What I am feeling is so deep, so complicated, so fantastic
That the mere word 'love' seems insufficient to describe it.
I am awestruck,
I am manic,
I am mortally terrified.
I think of you constantly and every instant that goes by
I miss you more,
I love you more.
At night I hear your name being called by the crickets,
I see you face among the stars.
By day I hate every woman for reminding me of you,
and I love every woman for reminding me of you.
Without you there is nothing,
the sun won't have to rise,
the rivers can stop flowing,
the birds could stop singing,
and I would not know the difference.
I love you,
today more than yesterday,
now more than a moment ago.
By the time, time itself came into existence,
I was already in love with you for eons,
and when eternity runs to an end
I will still love you.
Without compromise,
without lapse,
without deceit,
without regret,
but with
Passion, ambition, commitment,
loyalty, generosity, compassion
and in complete surrender.
This is the way I will love you forever.
Everyday and every night, forever.
