Analogy Of Life - Poem by Walterrean Salley

Life is spirit
And energy.
Life is presence
And personality.

Life has beginning,
From which it sprung.
Life has stages—
Old and young.

Fowl, beast
And humankind—
Life has form
Of every kind.

Life has an end—
It shall cease;
And thus, it comes
With a lease.

    Summed brillantly, with great word economy. I hope my lease does not expire before I
    can read more of your truly great writings
