A-nchor of our hope
I-s making us firm and strong;
R-ough ocean of trials
A-llows us to keep from wrong.
B-ig waves in the deep sea
E-xplain why we need an anchor;
L-ife, like ship, weathers the storm,
L-ooking for a place to go
A-shore.
V-ile season in this world
I-s so difficult to face;
A-ll we need is an anchor,
N-egating surge on the sea surface.
C-oming inclement clime carries a howling wind;
A-t the height of his fury we must use our anchor again.
A-nchor of our hope
N-ight and day we must carry.
D-ay five in June morn,
E-merge triumphant over the
S-ea.
