Anderson Dcccxlviii
'Let me kiss yr scars' he said
But I refused to let him
For he does not know where
They are from
How I scarred myself from the self-haterd
That I kept from the world
And that I don't feel I deserved love
Since everyone that I ever loved
Has perished
Such a heart wrenching poem! And one that shows such great insight into the issues of abuse, self discovery and self love. LeeAnn, my heart goes out to you. I commend you on the courage of such heart-felt writing!
