MY LITTLE ANGEL
With this little poem, I shall make you cry
With mixed feelings long after I die
As I pen this for the apple of my eye
My little grand-daughter who is very shy
This bright little, light of mine
I am going, to let her shine
As she grows up to be a woman fine
Letting the world know that I am thine
A cuddle-some little girl so pretty and fair
A gift of god so pretty and very rare
Chenuli is her name, so nice and bright
Brightened her parents life with her light
She charmed everyone with her pleasant looks
Though she is small she loves story books
She loves to huddle in her grandpa's arms
With a display of innocent looks and charms
She is bright, intelligent and wise
To watch her at play is so very nice
At night, before she goes to bed
A story form any book, has to be read
She is very choosy with her drinks and food
Loves white chocolate that taste so good
Likes to be dressed simple, she is not fussy
Doesn't care much for things that get messy
She has a craving for a little sister or brother
This desire she wishes to fulfill somehow or other
She keeps telling this to her father and mother
As her loving parents keep eyeing one another
I dedicate this to an angle, so near and dear
A sprightly little girl, with hardly any fear
To god I appeal as my eyes tear
To make my angel's future bright and clear.
