The Insatiable animal called man.
Man the supreme being of almighty God
The most exalted creation of the lord
Is he happy, is he content, is he ever thankful
He is greedy, he is jealous and forever sinful
God created man out of earth
In his image and gave life to him with his birth
Eden's Paradise he gave him as his treasure
Greed banished him of this heavenly pleasure
Woman he created for him as his mate
She was full of greed and hate
Her heart wears pride as Satan's crest
Craves to steal, kill and destroy at its best
In despair man turns to different gods to trust
Falls even at the feet of Satan full of lust
He adores nothing but material riches
Not ashamed to bow before evil witches
Singled out alone or taken as a clan
An insatiable animal, he is called man
Give him an inch, by the yard he will take
Bread to eat you give him and he will ask for cake
Build him a shelter and call it his home
For a palace he will ask, that too built in Rome
Find him a good woman, to be his blessed mate
Leaving her at home, he will look for a blind date
Give him a little wealth, to lead a clean life
He will crave for more and forget even his wife
The ruler of a land, just let him be
Content he is not, till he grabs what is across the sea
Ask him to make peace, he will wage war
He knows no ethics and respects no law
In his greed, he thinks that might is right
In his jealousy and greed, his fellow beings he will fight
Give man a little place in the blessed moon
The sun he will want, that too very soon
This insatiable animal called man, is with us to stay
Dear God forgive his weakness, to you I pray
