Angels - Poem by Linda Ori

Angels come on silent wing
From somewhere up above,
Angels cause our hearts to sing
And teach us how to love;
Invisible protectors
Assigned to us at birth,
Tho' sometimes we can see them
In the friends we choose on earth.

    This is truly a wonderful little poem, it is so true, there are earth angels, I know I've met a few. It has been said that I have more than one Angel and I believe that. Marvelous poem Linda, I love it a lot.--Melvina-- (Report) Reply

    As a 'heathen', I always have difficulty with this kind of work, but the sentiments are irresistible and there's beauty and wisdom in abundance in the closing lines. x jim (Report) Reply

    Excellent poem. 'Invisible Protectors'. Yes I agree with you. Invisible protectors brings out childhood memories of how they protected us with their invisible hands from great falls in life. (Report) Reply

    It takes an angel such as yourself, to recognize another angel! This is a great poem! A well deserved 10! (Report) Reply
