Angels Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Angels

Angels come to Earth to sing.
But not from Heaven.
Bearing halos and wings.
These angels come to Earth to bring,
With them solutions.
To end division.
And the foolishness of it continuing.

Angels appear with words to hear.
Never before to have heard them clear.
To all to understand.
Comprehend and made understood.
This Earth was created,
As a place to celebrate the gift of life.
And shared by those blessed given tests,
To correct the wrongs of the past to make right.

Angels come to Earth to sing.
Of peace and harmony.
Done to do,
Without who has the ability...
To impress with obtaining material things.
Or who declares to be entitled,
As chosen favorites of God to be.
Since humanity,
And all creatures God has made to create.
Would not exist to permit,
Confusion and conflicts to allow this.
When God knows mankind,
Will find a way to fix it.
Quicker than the seven days it took,
God to create Earth not to wish destroyed.

"That's just a myth! "

-Mythed or not.
Mankind seems determined,
To turn this place...
Into a lifeless floating rock.-

"Says who? "

-Observation! -
